In-House VAT Manager R3696,

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a VAT Manager to join our dynamic and growing finance team. This is a great role with plenty of scope for growth and is  looking to progress their VAT career in a supportive organisation.

You will be taking full ownership and accountability for the VAT /Tax function, demonstrating a hands-on approach to both strategic and day-to-day tasks overseeing UK and overseas tax concerns. Working with the finance and the wider business to ensure tax VAT compliance and the implementation of best practice , identifying the risks and ensuring overall compliance for the Business’ tax requirements and mitigating potential tax risks where applicable

To apply you will need at least 4 years practical UK VAT experience, ideally gained in Big 4/ Top 20 or another large  Group.  Along with a good base of compliance and technical VAT knowledge and solid communication skills – often explaining VAT and tax matters to non tax /finance colleagues.
