OMB Tax Manager or Senior Manager in Cheshire
A long-established professional services firm with a strong reputation as trusted tax advisors is seeking an experienced OMB professional to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity to manage a varied client portfolio and deliver personal tax compliance and advisory services to private and corporate clients, with an OMB slant.
The role
- Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, including high-net-worth individuals, owner-managed businesses, landlords and trusts, acting as their main point of contact.
- Advise individuals and owner-managed businesses on a range of tax matters, with a strong focus on advisory-led work.
- Resolve HMRC enquiries and investigations, supporting clients throughout the process.
- Build trusted client relationships by providing practical, commercially focused advice.
- Develop and manage trainees as part of a pro-active culture
- Collaboratively work with colleagues across departments to deliver joined-up client service.
About you
- You have experience advising individuals and owner-managed businesses.
- You are confident managing your own client portfolio and maintaining strong client relationships.
- You communicate effectively, work well with colleagues and take a practical, commercial approach.
- Experience with trusts would be advantageous but is not essential.
