Private Capital Tax Manager – Mixed Tax

A highly regarded international professional services firm is looking to expand its Private Capital Tax team, offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional to work with a unique and interesting portfolio of private businesses, investment structures, entrepreneurs and high-net-worth individuals.

The team advises across a broad range of corporate, partnership and personal tax matters, working with clients in financial services, investment management, fintech and privately owned businesses. This is an opportunity to develop your advisory career within a well-resourced team handling complex UK and international tax matters.

The role

• Manage and deliver a varied portfolio of tax advisory projects covering corporate tax, international tax, personal tax, capital gains, inheritance tax and partnership matters.
• Advise business owners, families and investors on their personal tax affairs, business interests and investment structures.
• Build strong client relationships, providing commercially focused advice and developing trusted adviser status.
• Lead client assignments, ensuring technical quality and effective delivery.
• Develop junior colleagues through coaching, mentoring and reviewing their work.
• Contribute to team strategy, business development and identifying opportunities to grow client relationships.
• Collaborate with colleagues across UK and international offices and external professional advisers.

About you

• You have a strong UK tax background in corporate, personal, OMB or mixed tax.
• You have experience delivering tax advisory work and managing client relationships.
• You are technically strong, commercially aware and confident dealing with complex tax matters.
• You have experience supervising and developing junior team members.
• You hold ACA, CTA, ATT or an equivalent professional tax or legal qualification.
