Corporate Tax Senior Manager Full time

Our client is an established and highly regarded independent firm. It is seeking an accomplished senior corporate tax specialist with a broad skills base to join them, initially as a senior manager, but with an agreed road-map to become a partner within a short time frame. The practice, which provides a full service offering to a high calibre SME / OMB client base, places a strong emphasis on client service. The role will have a tax advisory focus and will encompass a wide variety of assignments including tax work related to M&A transactions, corporate reorganisations, employee share schemes and property tax planning. You will have strong technical skills with a corporate tax background, will ideally be CTA qualified, and are likely to have experience of working in a national or large independent firm. The role will particularly appeal to confident self-starters who enjoy advising clients in a hands-on capacity and adopt a market facing approach. Unlike many openings at this level, this is not a predominantly sales focused role. Whilst the successful applicant will be comfortable networking and spotting opportunities internally, a greater emphasis is placed on ensuring the firm provides practical and commercially driven tax advice to its clients.
