Group Tax Manager

Fantastic opportunity for either a corporate tax manager (or AM) looking to make your first move into industry or a tax accountant / tax manager already working in-house. Reporting to the Group Head of Tax you will be responsible for overseeing tax compliance, providing tax advice, and driving improvements to tax processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit UK tax computations.
• Forecast UK tax payments on account.
• Arrange prompt payment of corporation tax liabilities and handle tax administration aspects.
• Prepare tax charge and tax notes for annual group and subsidiary financial statements, coordinating with auditors.
• Assist with group reporting and compliance issues.
• Ensure compliance with Transfer Pricing rules, including maintaining up-to-date documentation and appropriate pricing of intra-group transactions.
• Liaise with HMRC and overseas tax authorities when necessary.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Qualified Tax professional (CTA/ATT) or finalist.
• Accounting qualification is desired but not essential.
• Excellent technical ability.
• Self-starter with the ability to drive projects independently.
• Motivated individual with strong communication skills and confident decision-making abilities.
• Ability to build positive relationships at all levels, both internally and externally.
• Effective project and time management skills.
