In-House VAT Manager Full time

Our client is seeking an Indirect Tax Manager to join the growing Tax Department based in Manchester city centre focusing on UK VAT advisory  with a UK only  focus across all businesses and entities

The ideal candidate will be able to work with a high level of independence, supporting the UL group  as it expands covering a variety of topics eg movements of goods, due diligence relating to acquisitions, launch of new products, etc. there will also be scope for dealing with local tax authorities and ad-hoc enquiries

This is  a fast paced, dynamic growing business. You will need to be proactive enough to keep up with the pace of the business, be able to adapt to a changing environment, collaborate effectively with teams outside of Tax and communicate effectively with senior leaders.

It is likely that you will have 7+ years VAT experience and have achieved senior manager  within a large accounting firm or you will have made that first step in-house.
