Private Capital Tax Senior Manager – Manchester – Mixed Tax

A highly regarded international professional services firm is expanding its Private Capital Tax team. The team advises across a broad range of corporate, partnership and personal tax matters, working with clients in financial services, investment management, fintech and privately owned businesses.

The role

• Lead complex and high-value tax advisory engagements for entrepreneurs, family offices, private businesses, investors and their associated investment structures.
• Act as a trusted strategic adviser to key clients, providing commercially focused advice across corporate, personal, international and partnership tax matters.
• Own senior client relationships, developing a strong understanding of clients’ business interests, investment activities and longer-term objectives.
• Drive business development, identifying new opportunities, developing propositions, pitching for work and converting prospective clients into long-term relationships.
• Shape the strategic direction and continued growth of the team, contributing to business planning, market development and revenue growth.
• Lead and develop a team of tax professionals, taking responsibility for performance, succession planning, coaching and the development of future leaders.
• Oversee the delivery of complex assignments, providing technical oversight, managing risk and ensuring consistently high standards of client service.

About you

• You have a strong track record in tax advisory, with experience across corporate, personal, OMB or mixed tax.
• You can demonstrate the ability to develop and retain significant client relationships and generate new business.
• You have the commercial awareness and confidence to influence senior stakeholders and contribute to the strategic growth of a team.
• You are an experienced people leader with a genuine interest in developing talent and building high-performing teams.
• You hold ACA, CTA or an equivalent professional qualification.
