Personal Tax Manager or Assistant Manager Permanent

An established and growing professional services firm is looking to appoint an Assistant Tax Manager or a Tax Manager to join its Private Client team in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced personal tax professional seeking a varied role with a strong mix of client interaction, compliance oversight and advisory work.

Working with entrepreneurs, owner-managed businesses, high-net-worth individuals, families, trusts and estates, you will manage a broad portfolio of clients and build long-term relationships based on practical, reliable advice and responsive service. The role will involve overseeing personal tax compliance matters while also supporting clients with wider tax planning across areas including Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax and succession planning.

The successful candidate will join a collaborative and well-established team with exposure to a wide range of technical work and the opportunity to work closely with senior colleagues across the wider business. Responsibilities will be shaped around your level of experience, making this a strong opportunity for either an established Assistant Manager ready for the next step or an experienced Manager looking for a new environment.

Applicants should have strong Private Client or Personal Tax experience gained within a professional practice environment, together with experience managing client portfolios and delivering a high standard of service. CTA, ATT, ACA or equivalent qualifications would be advantageous.
