Senior VAT Manager, In-house, Cheshire, NEW
This is a newly created Senior VAT Manager opportunity within an established and high‑performing in-house tax team. This offers a broad indirect tax exposure across compliance, advisory and high‑profile commercial projects. Taking ownership of global VAT compliance while acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders. Providing strategic input into major transactions and business initiatives on matters such as asset/share sales and financing agreements, cross-border transactions and new market entry.
The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, commercial awareness and confidence working with senior management.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Ideally CTA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent.
- Has experience gained in a Big 4 or Top 20 firm, or a complex in‑house environment.
- Enjoys operating in a dynamic, fast‑moving business.
- Can communicate complex VAT issues in a clear, pragmatic way.
