Tax Business Partner

Fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified accountant or tax specialist looking to make your first move into industry. This is a key business partnering / project management role acting as bridge between various sites and the finance team. Reporting to the Tax Manager your key responsibilities will include:

• management of the UK VAT group return , some preparation and some review
• monitoring, reviewing and reconciliation of all tax accounts
• managing the European tax incentive claims (R&D and Patent Box).
• managing tax payments and cashflow forecasting across Europe
• managing the tax compliance diary
• acting as business partner to help sites with new projects / initiatives with financial / tax considerations as the need arises
• support with ad hoc projects as required
