Leading multinational company with a strong presence across the globe are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join their dynamic team.
Responsible for Uk & Ireland, the Tax Manager is an integral part of the Tax team to ensure the Group’s overall global tax strategy. You will oversee management of the Corporation Tax cycle which is outsourced and oversee tax accounting and reporting obligations as well as project management support.
Provide VAT advice and support on the optimum structuring of business transactions from both a domestic and international perspective.
Assist Foreign Trade and GS teams (Controlling / Finance) to fulfil operational, reporting, compliance and documentation requirements.
Set up tax risk tracking and management processes including preparations for the impact of new legislation and regulation
Evaluate Tax incentives ( R&D, Patent Box etc) and other M&A opportunities to deliver synergies and efficiencies across the group
Manage relationships with external tax advisors and authorities, ensuring effective communication and resolution of tax-related matters.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in tax management, sharing knowledge and insights with the team
You will be a qualified ACA / ACCA / CTA with proven success in post qualification experience. Possess solid UK corporation tax experience and have strong awareness of UK and EU VAT , the practical experience of working within a large international group is desirable.
