Working as a Senior Manager ( No 2 ) in the VAT team  as part of a large in-house tax function you  will be heavily involved in compliance and financial reporting processes can be improved.  The indirect tax team currently prepares, reviews and submits VAT returns in 8 jurisdictions, as well as other statistical submissions such as Intrastat and EC Sales Lists.

You will report to the VAT director and oversee the existing VAT managers, who will be responsible for preparing and submitting VAT returns and ECSLs for specific territories, which will involve working with the country finance teams to improve processes and accuracy of data. You will also provide support to the VAT director on a range of  Indirect Tax matters.

The role requires a sound technical understanding of VAT and working experience of VAT compliance and Excel is a must.
