As this business continues to expand and grow there is now a need for an additional VAT specialist to join the tax team.  Reporting to the VAT Director, you will be responsible for preparing and submitting VAT returns & ECSLs. There is also a  focus on improving processes and internal systems.

The group is highly acquisitive and as such you get involved high calibre work, mergers & acquisitions, dealing with recent post-merger activity and essentially be a the key point of contact for VAT issues within your allocated entities.

There is some flexibility in terms of required experience for this brand new role but it is likely you need a sound technical understanding of VAT and working experience of VAT compliance and Excel, ideally of handling VAT compliance for a complex organisation.
