Indirect Taxes – In-house – Greater Manchester

We are working fast growth fashion brand looking to establish an internal tax function and bring tax in-house. As the Indirect Tax Manager you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of indirect tax compliance and strategy, including VAT, sales tax, customs etc Working closely with finance, operations, legal, IT to build tax processes and infrastructure, and ensure compliance is maintained as the company expands its globally.

This is a key recruit for the finance team and as such attitude is everything, you will work closely with the CFO and Senior Finance, managing all indirect tax matters but with an awareness of all taxes.

You will need a strong working knowledge of UK indirect taxes as well as experience of tax regimes outside the UK, most likely you will have come from a large accounting firm and have already gained some in-house experience.

As well as tax technical skills you will have the enthusiasm and personality to drive the group tax function forward and quickly progress this into to a more senior Tax role as such growing your tax team.
