VAT Manager – Midlands based

An exciting and varied in-house opportunity has arisen for proactive and self-motivated VAT  Manager to join the Finance  team.

We are looking for an experienced VAT expert with substantial technical tax knowledge, ideally gained in complex sector. The role has a broad remit and works across all activities to include VAT compliance, advising on the VAT implications of major projects, designing VAT efficient corporate structures, and advising on VAT aspects of contractual arrangements.

Reporting to a Head of Tax the tax team is responsible for all tax matters at the Group and its subsidiary and associated companies so there is plenty of scope for an experienced tax accountant who has worked in a large complex organisation to tackle new challenges and  learn new Tax skills such as global mobility/ employee taxes
